5 CSV tips for clean recipient imports

Avoid the most common upload errors when preparing your recipient spreadsheet.

Use UTF-8 encoding when exporting CSV to preserve international names.

Keep one row per recipient — no merged cells.

Column headers should match field names: name, email, course (lowercase, no spaces in custom fields).

Remove empty rows at the bottom of your spreadsheet before export.

Validate emails in your sheet first — invalid addresses block batch completion.
